The Toms River Canoe & Kayak Race is held annually on the Toms River, from Riverwood Park to Huddy Park. The race course is 8 miles, consisting of 85% slow-moving shallow freshwater with many turns. Water level seldom requires any portage. Winning times have ranged between one hour and twenty minutes to two hours and twenty minutes.
Entry Fee: $12.00 per solo; $22.00 per tandem; $18.00 for both open water events; $24.00 canoe rental.
