A new workshop under development for newer paddlers.
By now you've had some instruction, have paddled a few Class I rivers, and your boat goes where you want it to. Now let's learn how moving water and your boat works together, and how you use this to paddle a river. This workshop is intended to help you recognize such water and feel that relationship. We'll spend a day paddling the Delaware River examining different water features and finding ways to work with them.
This is a new approach and I'm still working out kinks -- so I must limit participants to 8 or 10 boats and I'll be a little selective, too. It's going to be a long run with many pauses, so there won't be time to work on paddling strokes and techniques. You should already have those skills. If you're comfortable with eddying out and (especially) ferrying then consider participating.
To apply please get in touch with Joe Pylka via email or phone (609-466-3675) by Friday July 23rd. There will be some preliminary stuff to send out.
