The Mohawk Canoe Club will host it's annual picnic on Sunday, August 15 at Tinicum Park in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Note that this is a change of location from previous years.
Tinicum Park has a covered pavilion which is reserved for us. The Park is located on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River on Route 32 about one mile south of the Frenchtown Delaware River bridge.
As always, burgers, doggies, soft drinks and "fixins" will be provided by Mohawk. Picnic attendees are asked to bring something to share. There will be a short paddle in the morning and food will be served at about 1PM. Contact Joe Pylka to get details of his plans for the morning paddle.
This is a rain or shine event and rain should not be the disaster that was last year when by 1PM most of the picnic area was underwater.
